Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Steadfast Escondido Epoxy Floors website and any work you hire us to do. When you use this site, ask for a quote or book a job with us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work through it.

If a written estimate or contract for your job says something different from these terms, the written estimate or contract controls for that job.

What we do

We're a flooring contractor in Escondido, CA, installing and repairing concrete floor systems for homes and businesses. That includes epoxy and polyaspartic coatings, garage floors, polished and stained concrete, overlays, sealing, pool deck coatings and the grinding and prep work that goes under all of them. You can see the full list on our home page and read more about how we work on our About page.

Photos, descriptions and examples on this site show the kind of work we do. They aren't a promise that your floor will look exactly the same, because every slab starts in a different condition.

Estimates and pricing

We give free quotes on site, with no pressure to book. We look at the slab before we price it because the size of the area, the condition of the concrete, how much grinding and crack repair it needs and the system you choose all move the price.

A written estimate is based on what we can see at the visit. If we find something after work starts that couldn't be seen, like moisture coming up through the slab, an old coating that's failing or damage under existing flooring, we'll stop, explain it and agree on any change in price with you before we do the extra work.

An estimate stays good for the period written on it. After that, we may need to look again and update the price.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We set your start date once you approve the estimate. Temperature and humidity affect how coatings and sealers cure, so we may move a date to protect the finish, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.

Please clear the area before we arrive, give us access to the floor, water and power, and keep people, pets and vehicles off the floor for the full cure time we give you. Damage from using the floor before then isn't something we can be responsible for.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (442) 999-8619 as early as you can. Any cancellation fee or non-refundable deposit will be written in your estimate or contract, and we won't charge one that isn't.

Payment

Your estimate or contract sets out the total, any deposit and when each payment is due. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is complete.

If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's settled. Where the law allows, you're responsible for the reasonable costs of collecting an overdue balance.

Warranties and what they don't cover

The warranty on your floor is the one written in your estimate or contract, and its terms control. We back our work with our satisfaction guarantee, so if something isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it.

A coating or polish sits on top of the concrete, so it can't stop what the slab itself does. We don't warrant against cracks from the slab moving or settling, moisture or vapor pushing up from the ground, damage from impacts, dragging or chemicals, wear from uses the floor system wasn't chosen for, or the natural variation in color and texture that polished, stained and metallic floors always have.

Apart from what's written in your contract, this website and our services are provided as is, without any other warranties, express or implied, to the extent the law allows.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Steadfast Escondido Epoxy Floors isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of a garage or shop floor, lost income or lost profits, that come from our work or from this website. Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Information on this site is general, so it isn't advice for your particular floor until we've seen it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that California law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Resolving a problem

If something goes wrong, tell us first. Call (442) 999-8619 or reach us through our Contact page, and we'll work with you to put it right, because most floor problems get fixed fastest with a visit.

If we can't settle it between us within a reasonable time, either of us may take the matter to a court with jurisdiction in San Diego County, California, including small claims court when the claim qualifies.

California law applies

These terms, your use of this website and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. That holds for every job, in Escondido and in the other cities we work in.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The version posted when you book applies to that job, and the current version applies to your use of the website.

If you have a question about these terms, call us at (442) 999-8619 or use our Contact page.
