About our flooring contractor company in Escondido
Who we are, how I got into concrete floors, and what you can count on when our crew works on your slab.

How I got started in flooring
I learned flooring from my dad, working next to him on garage floors and shop slabs until I could run a grinder and read a slab on my own. The habit I kept from those years is giving prep the time it needs instead of rushing to the shiny part, because a nice coat over a bad slab won't hold up. I started this business in Escondido in 2017 to do floors that way.
Around Escondido and the cities near it, homeowners call us about garages, patios, pool decks and living spaces, and property managers call us for shops and warehouses. A lot of those calls are floors other people passed on, like slabs under old glue, damp basements and coatings that keep letting go. I'll admit those are my favorite. Working out why an old floor failed is how we pick the right fix for yours, and it's why our Escondido flooring work starts with the concrete, not a color chart.
What you can count on from us
We look at your slab first
Before I say a word about products, I check your concrete and ask what the floor has to put up with, so the floor we put down suits the slab you have and the way you use it. If a finish isn't a good fit for what you want, I'll tell you that at the estimate instead of letting you find out later.
You deal with the owner
I'm the one who answers when you call, and I come out to look at your floor myself, whether you reached us by phone or through our contact page. I also work right alongside our crew during the prep and install, so the person who looked at your slab is there when we work on it.
Estimates that spell out the prep
I write down the grinding, crack repair and old coating or glue removal your floor needs, so you can see what the work includes. That makes it easy to line our bid up against others and see what each one covers.

The California Contractors State License Board requires a license for altering a building when the job needs a building permit, uses any additional workers or costs $1,000 or more in labor and materials together. We're licensed and fully insured, and if your job needs a permit, we talk through who pulls it before work starts, and I ask the city or county building office when I'm not sure.
Escondido city business license
The City of Escondido requires a city business license from anyone doing business in the city, and it names construction contractors as an example. That holds even when a contractor's company is based outside city limits.
